ABOUT ST. LUKE

St. Luke Catholic School offers a safe, engaging learning environment for students and a welcoming community for families.  Our school embraces the call to live our faith in action and forms students as Christ-like Ambassadors through Service, Academics, and Strong Communication. These CASAS represent our schoolwide learning expectations and are held as core values in our program. 

We are an approved private school, fully accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA).  Our learning expectations are aligned with both the Archdiocese of Portland as well as the State of Oregon’s core subject area standards. All classroom teachers are licensed through the State of Oregon, and bring a passion for education and a love of children to their craft.

St. Luke Catholic School believes in partnering with parents, the first educators of children, to educate the whole child.  We are committed to helping students grow emotionally, spiritually, physically, and intellectually, thus providing them with a solid foundation.  St. Luke Catholic School values the role of community in this sacred work.

St. Luke Catholic School is a faith-based community comprised of students, parents, staff, and parish who work together to be disciples of God.  We actively participate in liturgical celebrations and we study the Catholic faith.  We share God’s love by promoting peace and justice within our diverse community and beyond.  We recognize families as the primary educators of their children and in working together, we strive to educate the whole child.  Through a challenging curriculum, we build positive self-worth, personal responsibility, cooperation, and mutual respect for all of God’s creation.
